This week, the New Music Latin Tour – a collection of the best new Latin songs and albums recommended by him paintinglatin f Billboard Espanol Editors – It’s powered by new music from Christian Nodal, Grupo Frontera, Peso Pluma, and Chayanne, to name a few.
Christian Nodal has released his new EP Forajido2, which includes the highly romantic “Cazzualidades” dedicated to his partner, fellow recording artist Cazzu. The track’s title is a play on the Spanish word coincidences (losses) and the name of the Argentine singer. A romantic tune that cleverly blends mariachi, tango, and flamenco, “Cazzualidades” details the sincere feelings he has for the soon-to-be mother of his first child.
Other releases include Chayanne’s return to tropical music with the third single, Bailando Bachata, from his upcoming album. The track is followed by other versions such as the pop instrumental “Tú y Yo” and the ballad “Te Amo y Punto”. It’s his first foray into the Dominican genre in nearly a decade, since the bachata pop “Bailando Dos Corazones”. This new song, L. explains Billboard Espanol, “is something more sincere, more complete, which makes me really excited.” Read his interview here.
Other versions included in the report are Yng Lvcas’ Six jewels 23 An all-reggaeton album, Pezo Bluma’s “Bye” – his first single since 2021’s “Por Las Noches”. In addition, Arthur Hanlon and Peter Nieto play Prince Royce’s bachata anthem “Darte Un Beso”. The cover is the opening track on Hanlon’s upcoming album Legacies: Bachatascheduled for release on June 23.
