After scoring his No. 2 debut on the Hot 100 this week with his J.Cole-assisted single “All My Life,” Lil Durk is looking to topple the Billboard 200 milestone with the release of his new album. Almost healed.

The album debuted at number one last year on the Billboard 200, logging 120,500 equivalent album units – marking his second highest charting. Almost healed Boasting an impressive guest lineup, Chicago’s headliners have raced in J. Cole, Alicia Keys, Future, Kodak Black, and current Billboard 200 champ, Morgan Wallen. Wallen and Durk previously collaborated on the 2021 hit “Broadway Girls,” which debuted in the top 20 of the Hot 100.
In a new interview with his DJ Akademiks out of order Podcast, Turn revealed how Kanye West helped create his new album before eventually choosing not to use the recordings. “He really did my entire album,” Durk told Akademiks. “But I don’t use it. He likes it with the beat. He put some vocals behind some beats. He played with a couple of records. He played with two records. He did some genius.”
Despite the cuts, Dork conveyed to the academics that he would consider using the songs if he chose to go the luxury route for the sake of Almost healed. “I’m trying to see if I can come back with some genius, man, and double my sales,” he quipped.
