Wolves have agreed a €55m (£47m) deal to sell captain Ruben Neves to Saudi club Al Hilal.
The 26-year-old Portuguese midfielder, Neves, has a year left on his contract.
He said at the end of last season that he was ambitious amid interest from Barcelona.
However, Barcelona were unable to come up with an acceptable offer and Neves took the option to become the latest senior player to join the Saudi League.
Karim Benzema completed a free transfer to Al-Ittihad this month and Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante is linked with a connection, while Cristiano Ronaldo moved to Al-Nassr in December.
Wolves consider it an excellent job at a time when they are trying to cash in for manager Julen Lopetegui to strengthen his squad.
Neves has been instrumental in their success since joining from Porto in 2017.
He helped them win the championship a year later and then two consecutive seventh-place finishes in the Premier League.
The club also reached the quarter-finals of the Europa League in 2020 – knocked out by Sevilla defender Lopetegui – but struggled to repeat that success and finished last season in 13th place after finishing last at Christmas.
Neves made 253 appearances for Wolves in all competitions, scoring 30 goals.
