Dua Lipa and Romain Gavras made their red carpet debut at the Cannes Film Festival on Friday (May 19).

The pop singer, 27, and the French music video director, 41, were photographed making their first public appearance together on the movie’s red carpet. Omar Al-Fareez (King of Algeria) at the Festival Palace.

“Last night in Cannes with my love,” Lipa wrote on Instagram, along with shots of her getting cozy with Gavras.

The “Lift” singer was first seen with Gavras leaving a concert in London together in February, according to a… Entertainment tonight. The couple was also seen holding hands in the same month during Paris Fashion Week, H! Connected reports.

Gavras, who directed music videos for Jay-Z and Kanye West’s “No Church in the Wild” and MIA’s “Bad Girls,” among others, dated Rita Ora for about six months, according to a the people.

Lipa previously dated Anwar Hadid, brother of supermodels Gigi and Bella Hadid, from 2019 until early 2021. Last September, the singer was rumored to be dating comedian Trevor Noah after she was seen sharing a kiss during a one-on-one. One hangout session in New York City.
