Will WardForward Global Management, Production, Publishing and Business Development Company, has now launched a record label, painting can reveal.
Dubbed Fourward Records, the label has already signed raucous folk-pop artist Brenn! Under a license agreement and partnership with Justin LublinerDarkroom imprint (via Interscope Records), as well as indie rock band Sarah and the Sundays in a licensing deal and partnership with AWAL.
“I am excited to expand and grow the Forward brand in the record space,” Ward said in a statement. “Our focus is to continue developing artists early on, through the lens of a global management company. Whether it be in records, publishing or management, we provide an environment where developing talent can build a community of trusted collaborators to help grow their careers properly.”
Music head quartet Joey McCarthy He added that the record label “is something we’ve talked about for a long time, and we’ve built a strategy into this launch. The goal is for our artists to feel like they’re getting management-like strategy and treatment across the board.”
In addition, Fourward A&R and artist manager McCarthy exclaims Jake Sarnostating that the CEO “was instrumental in identifying talent early and helping us grow the music department. I’m excited about what the future holds for Forward and the jobs we’ll help impact along the way.”
