You can’t get higher than this! Beyonce reunited with Kendrick Lamar for a chic remake Renaissance Hit, “America has a problem.”
On the new iteration of the track released on Friday (May 19), Lamar comes out glowing with a powerful one-minute opening verse. He gushes at his signature lightning speed, proudly proclaiming himself “Honorary Bayhive” as he sings, “My mom told me money beats you / My tower said I’m really out of noodles / I’m worried ‘I’m puzzlin’, it’s sudoku / Say B, yeah, America’s got a problem / I went off, choosing love, well, they chose violence.”
It’s not the first time the beloved duo has collaborated musically. Lamar was previously featured on Bey’s 2016 Billboard 200 chart-topping album “Freedom.” Lemonade, and he took the stage with her at that year’s BET Awards to perform the track. The rapper also joined the “Alien Superstar” performer on her closing show for the Formation Tour, surprising the crowd with another performance of “Freedom” at Metlife Stadium in New Jersey.
